The Paradise Concert was held on the 24th of September 2006. Here's a recap. This year's attendance was a bit dissapointing though. Perhaps it was probably due to the absence of Guy Sebastian, the "crowd puller" for last year's concert. The Paradise Team led the worship and sang their hearts out, at the same time managed to entertain the mainly youth congregation with songs from their latest album, Set Me Free and some other popular songs from their previous albums. All in all, it was a wonderful worship experience and I guessed many first-time visitors were impressed by the sounds effects at my church.
Birthday Ice-cream and Cheese Cake
Happy Birthday to my cell mate, Deniece. It could have been a surprise birthday supper for Deniece on the 28th, but somehow she managed to know about it through a SMS containing a message notifying us about the surprised outing which was sent to her accidentally. So, I went out as usual to celebrate with other cell members at Baskin Robbins Mont Kiara. There, I tried a single scoop strawberry chesse flavoured ice-cream (sounds weird?) with additional request for some fresh strawberry add-ons. Fingers licking good ice-cream with good taste. How I wish I could make such ice-cream at school (I mean university) for my girlfriends and female friends at school. No doubt, girls will surely like this for supper. Aren't you now wanting something for supper tonight?
Me and William
The next morning was a different story. I went out for lunch with a former high-school mate William, a hospitality student at Taylor's College and with another friend of his. We were "hooked" together at The Curve, where we had lunch at the Hooked Restaurant and were "hooked" up with affordable set lunches. Heard of Spaghetti Bolognese or Cabonarra with Fish and Cheese? Oh no, no taste according to William's friend. This is one restaurant where you can try Fish with almost everything? If I'm the chef one day, perhaps, I will try mixing Cheese, Fish and Papaya or Durian (as opposed to pineapple) served with fried rice. Yuccksss to my bizarre ideas! What you think of this combination? I really can't stop laughing right now.
