Semester 1 is now OVER!!! First semester in Australia flew away in a blink of an eye. Now it's gone, and I'm looking forward to the next semester. Yes, half-way through my degree!
cereal - bacons - baked beans - toast bread - eggs - orange juice
I can never forget the type of breakfast I had every morning in College. Getting used to the Aussie way of life was not as difficult as I thought it would be.
beef-onion-cheese-bbq sauced Hamburger and Fish & Chips
In fact, sometimes I had more than I ever expected. Therefore, it was a very good start to my student life here in Brisbane.
Carmody Road - apparently the trees are flowery until today
Everything seemed to be going very well. Even tree branches along the road are bearing so much bright-pink flowers - they gave Me as much self-confidence on living independently whenever I see them.
Room no. 3 Henderson Wing cleaned
After my semester finals, I packup-ed and left College life to live confidently outside (off-campus) all on my own - only for this one month inter-semester break and I'll return to College once semester 2 begins because my contract is for two semesters.
Bye Bye ...
The reason why I say living all on my own is because food, cleaning and laundry would have to be done by myself. It was a chance for Me to learn how to cook for myself haha! A good training especially if I want to stay on my own next year.
Luke cheering us while we were rushing our pack
Hendo guys never really organized a farewell because most of us will be seeing each other again, with the exception of my room-neighbour who'll be leaving back to Texas, USA for good.
Goodbye Texas Ranger Tim! We'll always remember you for your 'sexy mom!'
Departure checklist marked, room key returned
For this period, I'll stay-rent in my friend's apartment not very far away from Brisbane city. I moved every belongings with Me except heavy textbooks which I left in the top compartment of my College room wardrobe.
Dawson Court
And finally this is my new address - 23 Dawson Court, Maryvale Street.
now I'm living a Simple Life, Simple Meal
Ooops... to celebrate my arrival to this new home, someone did cook dinner for Me. Lucky Me!
